Maddie Brown is (Mostly) Fine

What would you do if your “mostly fine” life suddenly flipped upside down, leaving you at a crossroad you never saw coming?

Enter Maddie Brown: slightly frazzled empty nester, and, thanks to a class reunion, now smack-dab in the middle of a swirling mess of old flames, family drama, and one impossible-to-ignore second chance.

Between dodging the ghosts of University Past and navigating her husband’s secrets, flying off to Bali in search of her missing son Ed and saving her favourite aunt (and herself) from fading away, Maddie finds herself making a series of wild, brave—and at times, gloriously messy—decisions.

When heartbreak, hope, and a windswept Isle of Wight cottage collide, can Maddie finally let go of playing it safe and embrace a new chapter?

With an irresistible mix of humour, heart, and honest-to-goodness reinvention, 'Maddie Brown is (Mostly) Fine' is perfect for anyone who’s ever wondered, “Is it too late to shake things up?” For fans of Jill Mansell, Jenny Colgan, and Trisha Ashley.
